I have always wanted to work with the senior populations since I was a little girl . I lived on a farm and would walk over to the neighbors house to sit with her on the porch.
We had moved off the farm when I was in fifth grade but we continued to go and visit . As I got older I would go and help her clean her house or whatever that needed to be done . We worked in her garden a lot, so we were always planting some type of vegetables .
I have over ten years of experience in health care and senior care and I couldn’t think of a more rewarding job than helping the senior population .
The moment I found out SOAR was looking for someone I was so excited and knew this was where I wanted and needed to be !!
